Eighteen month-old Thai elephant 'Ming Jung' ('My Boy') plays with a branch of an unused Christmas tree at Cologne zoo December 30, 2008.

The elephants of Cologne zoo are fed with left-over and unused Christmas trees each year - a delicacy for the animals according to the zoo's director.

The elephants eat up to three Christmas trees per day and the trees help them to keep their teeth clean.
