S T E P   1Always buy your milk and juice in cartons because they are the best for the environment and they protect the important vitamins in milk and juice from being damaged by light.
S T E P   2
The carton recycling process begins with you rinsing your empty cartons out thoroughly and then squashing them into "carton bricks".
S T E P   3
Put your "carton bricks" in the recycling bin provided by your local Council or take them to a carton recycling drop-off place, so that they can be collected.
S T E P   4
The cartons are taken to a recycling centre where they are sorted out from other recycleable materials.

The used milk and juice cartons are then taken to the Australian Paper plant at Nowra, NSW, where they are placed in a hyrdopulper.
S T E P   6
The hydropulper turns the cartons into paper pulp which is used to make paper.
S T E P   7
The former cartons which are now paper pulp are then fed into a giant paper making machine.

The end result is a top quality range of recycled copying paper like Xerox "Revive" and other office paper products. |
