Greenpeace puts giant blow-up whale on German peak

The activists braved cold and cloudy weather on the 2,962 metre (9,718 ft) high Zugspitze mountain peak in the Alps near the Austrian border to set up the black-and-white whale.
The environmental group was highlighting what it said was the killing of 300,000 whales every year. The protest was ahead of a meeting of the International Whaling Commission in Berlin on June 16-19.
