Canada Says B.C. Earthquake Not Felt on Land

The quake was the latest of a series in the seismically active Pacific region about 120 miles (200 km) west of Vancouver Island, Natural Resources Canada said.
On Monday, there was a quake of 4.2 magnitude in the same area and on Wednesday one of 5.0 magnitude.
Thursday's quake hit at 5:37 a.m. local time (1237 GMT).
The US Geological Survey said it was centered 95 miles (153 km) west-southwest of Port Hardy, British Columbia, and 293 miles (472 km) west-northwest of Vancouver.
The USGS said the quake was reported at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km).
