Boys are seen attempting to cross floodwaters in the town of Shepparton, 220 km (137 miles) north of Melbourne, September 7, 2010.
Local media reported that almost 300 homes in the towns of Shepparton and Horsham face an increased risk of flooding with swollen rivers yet to peak in the towns.
