A wounded woman wipes blood from her face near the site of a petrochemicals factory after an explosion in Toulouse, September 21, 2001 killed at last 12 people and injured over 180.

Ministry of Interior sourced ruled out a criminal attack and said that the huge explosion was due to human error. Toulouse residents were urged to stay indoors after a cloud of possible toxic gas floated above the city.
