Smog Blankets Tung Chung Airport Town in Hong Kong

The general air pollution index (API) reached a record high of 185 in Tung Chung September 9, just two weeks after the API hit 181.
Thick smog has blanketed Hong Kong since last week, a clear sign that the territory and southern China are still a long way from cleaning up their bad air.
The government urged people with respiratory problems to stay away from areas where traffic congestion was particularly heavy and to cut back on outdoor physical activity.
