In recent weeks, the Zoo's giant pandas exhibited several physical and behavioral signs indicating that they were entering their breeding season.
The Giant Pandas Mei Xiang and Tian Tian are at the National Zoo on a 10-year loan from the China Wildlife Conservation Association.
