Smoke from California wildfires obscures the view on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 29, 2003.


The smoke prompted Clark County Health officials to issue a poor air quality warning and the Clark County School District ordered athletic practices moved into indoor gyms.
