SWITZERLAND: July 16, 2008


A traffic sign stands in front of Swiss nuclear power plant Goesgen west of Zurich.


Swiss energy company BKW (Berner Kraft Werk) have requested a renewal of approval of their current contract to operate the Muehleberg power plant near Bern, from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) media reported on Tuesday.
