Since early 2015 James Treble, the talented interior designer on Channel Ten's The Living Room, has exuberantly acted as an ambassador for Planet Ark. He’s emceed events for our Make it Wood campaign and voiced radio ads for our BusinessRecycling and 12 DOs of Christmas campaigns.

This week he launched The James Treble Collection of rugs, ottomans and cushions that focus on style that is sustainable and ethical.

We reckon he has masterfully combined his passion for the environment with his design skills, weaving the two to create beautiful, ethical and sustainable products.

The rugs are made from materials like wool, linen and jute. Our favourite rugs are the ones made from used drive belts and recycled denim. Rather than ending up in landfill, the materials are having a shining second life as stars in the interiors collection.

Rugspace works with Goodweave, an organisation who are helping to transform the rug industry by diminishing child labour through strict certification and providing education opportunities to children who have been rescued or at risk.

We’re incredibly proud of James for this wonderful achievement and can’t wait to see what he does next!

You can check out the range at RugSpace.
