Planet Ark is proud to be the latest environmental NGO to join the Global Product Stewardship Council, an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to understanding and advancing the principles of product stewardship. We will be working with the Council to help industries and governments work together more effectively to reduce waste through new and existing recycling initiatives.

Candlebark School Library wins Timber Design Awards

The winners of the 2012 Australian Timber Design Awards were announced in Sydney on Thursday September 27th at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. The top prize went to Paul Haar Architect for Candlebark School Library, an earth-covered library built into the side of a hill in Victoria's Macedon Ranges.
