Planet Ark's campaigns have been developed to address serious environmental issues in a practical and straight-forward way. We reach ordinary members of the public through the media, educational resources and through our partnerships with businesses, councils, community groups, schools and environmental groups, encouraging Australians to bring about environmental change in their everyday lives.
Through the success of our campaigns we achieve real and measurable environmental results, including the following;
- 13 million native plants planted by 2 million volunteers for National Tree Day.
- 9 million printer cartridges diverted from landfill and recycled through 'Cartridges 4 Planet Ark'.
- 3 million visits to Planet Ark's RecyclingNearYou.com.au website.

National Tree Day is fast approaching and Planet Ark needs volunteer Site Coordinators to register and run tree-planting sites on Sunday 2 August as well as on Schools Tree Day, Friday 31 July.
