Planet Ark’s Australian Circular Economy Hub (ACE Hub) is thrilled to announce a new collaborative partnership with Circular360 - The Global Centre of Excellence in Circular Economy as a part of efforts to expand Australia’s growing circular economy community.

Through this collaboration, Planet Ark and Circular360 hope to engage with government, industry, finance, communities, and academia to support the state’s circular economy transition. This partnership combines the ACE Hub’s circular economy expertise and Circular360’s understanding of South Australian systems.

Planet Ark Head of Circular Economy Development, Nicole Garofano, said the partnership represented an important step in empowering a nationwide transition.

“We are excited to be working with the Circular360 team as their work helps the ACE Hub connect with the South Australian context of the circular economy adoption, but also explore national and international opportunities, particularly through the Global Leadership Program in Circular Economy.”

Circular360 was established with the aim of fulfilling the Adelaide 3R Declaration towards the Promotion of Circular Economy in Asia and the Pacific under the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Their work is underpinned by six pillars- Leadership, Investment, Policy, Education, Technology and Collaboration.

Circular360 Founder and Chief Executive, Hemant Chaudhary, said the collaboration between Circular360 and the ACE Hub provides strong synergistic opportunities for both organisations.

“There is an alignment between Circular360’s vision and the vision of the ACE Hub. We support the crucial role of the ACE Hub as being the focal point for all things circular in Australia — a platform for sharing information and inspiration, and for celebrating the efforts of all those working towards this vital transition.”
